Barcelona here I come.

Yesterday I finally bit the bullet and accepted a full time job in Barcelona, Spain. I start October 1st. The sense of excitement and trepidation are almost too much to bear but I think I’ll manage. No matter what fear I find between now and my departure date, the sweet idea of Sangria, tapas and Spanish chicas on a beach are more than enough to carry me and my luggage onto the airplane.

I never in my life thought I’d have the opportunity to live life in a foreign country, not as a tourist but as a local. I need to start practicing my spanish and my salsa dancing. I believe both will be crucially important for me to fit in.
