@adele

that's incredible. with a last name like Medici I can see why you'd want to start doing some serious digging. I can only suggest going back to the cities in which your parents emigrated from and visit their records department and see how far that can take you. But from the comfort of your home I'd be surprised if you came up with much more than a general history of the renaissance.

let me know what you find out, sounds like you have an incredible journey ahead of you. good luck!

H My name is Adele Martino my grandfather Antonio Martino was the son of a Anna(Medici)Martino who was born by 1850 in Italy. Her father was Joseph Medici born by 1820. I am trying research my Medici / Martino roots and want to go back as far as I can. I have viewed the history of the Medici's for sometime but I do not know where my father's grandmother's lineage began.

Nicely done Mike... I loved it!
Each word spoke true to my heart!
I want to go back... nothing beats going back to your roots! It just makes sense there!
